Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world.  Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love.  Please fill my hear with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me.  Father, may all my weights be true and all my scales balanced, and may my belief and trust in you be never ending.  I pray that you never remove your face from before me and that you continue to guide my steps along the path you have set, keeping my feet from turning to the right or the left.  Your grace and your mercy last forever, and your glory is the light that leads my way.

Father, you are perfect in every way.  You are full of love and grace, compassion and mercy. You are the first and you are the last, there is none besides you who set the stars in motion and who breathed life into our souls.  Nothing is done without your will and your will alone.  Father, there are too many people here on earth who have forgotten your face and who now walk with other gods.  There are too many people here on earth who have no respect for one another and no mercy in their hearts.  There are too many people here on earth who fail to serve their neighbors and who think only of themselves.  Father, this is indeed the days of Noah where your creation has gotten out of hand.  There is rebellion in the hearts of your children, and their aim is to destroy those who have faith and trust in you.  Father, I pray you save us, and protect us from the ungodly who wish to destroy us and you.  I pray that you protect your special treasure and keep us safe from the worldly things that tickle our ears.  I pray that you keep us focused and balanced in your love and your mercy.  You are our Salvation and with your protection we may continue to live in your Kingdom forever.

Blessed are you O Lord our God whose will is done on earth just as it is in heaven.
