Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, your appointed time of Shavuot, the 50th and final day of the counting of the omer. Thank you for waking me and for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Thank you for blessing me with the gift of your spirit, and for loving me so much that you have forgiven me of my sins. Thank you for your love and light. Thank you for your wisdom and patience. Thank you for your righteous judgments and all of your loving commands. Father, your wisdom and your might are unsearchable, and your grace is everlasting. You have delivered us from bondage so that you can be our God and we can be your people. Your love and truth are everlasting and all glory goes to you.
Father, thank you for this feast of Shavuot, the day you gave of your spirit to those righteous who believe in you and your Son. Your spirit helps us witness to your glory, and opens the hearts are ears of those whom you call. Father, please continue to call your children home to your Kingdom. Build Israel in the image of your glory, and bring peace to your people. Father, glory be your name, may your Kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Blessed are you O Lord our God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who blesses us with this feast of Shavuot.
