Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for waking me and for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Thank you for granting me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word, and for placing your spirit in my heart. Thank you for forgiving me my iniquities and for accepting me back into your covenant. Thank you for showing me what true love is.
Father, your greatness is unsearchable. You have saved us from our bondage in Egypt and delivered us into freedom. You led us to the land you promised, a land flowing with milk and honey. You sent us your son so that we may have eternal life in your Kingdom. Thank you for all your wondrous deeds and miracles that you have performed for our benefit. You are the one true living God and there is indeed, none who compare to you.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who blesses us with this Sabbath day.
