Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Thank you for granting me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be forgiving to my neighbors, and to teach me how to love them as you have loved me. Thank you for shaping me into the type of person I am and for blessing me with such a wonderful family and a wonderful life, my cup certainly runs over.
You have been such a kind and faithful God to me, truly you are full of mercy and grace and your love overflows me. You have blessed me with a family that is full of love for each other and the world. You have blessed me with friends who have helped me grow in my walk with you. You have blessed me with a group of brothers and sisters who are so kind to travel to our home each week to study your word and recognize all your glory. You have blessed me with a career that has allowed me to live a lifestyle that is beyond what I have ever imagined. But, above all else, you have blessed me with the gift of your forgiveness and the sacrifice you made through the death of your son, Yeshua, our Messiah. Through him you have saved me from following man, instead of you. Through him I have been placed on your path, a path leading to righteousness and everlasting life in your great and glorious Kingdom. Thank you for all you have done for me, a broken man who is nothing. All I have is from you and you alone. You have created me, and you have molded me. Thank you for all you do and for all your gifts.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who blesses us with this Sabbath day.
