Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others just as you have been with me. Please guide me along your narrow path and lead me through the gates of your Kingdom. Please help me become a better servant to you, a better husband to my wife, and a better father to my children. Guide me along the path you have set for me, and may I never forget that all glory is yours my Lord, and I am nothing but your humble servant.
Father, please be with your children during this upheaval of times. Please protect us and guide us through this chaos that the Enemy has fostered in our land. You once blessed this nation, and we need you now more than ever. The Adversary has risen to new heights and has his minions dress in black, for he is of the darkness. But you are of the light, and only your light can hold back the darkness. Please place that small crack within the souls of those minions so your light can creep through and destroy the darkness that comes with hate and violence. Our hope rests in you my God, and with you all things are possible.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who brings light to the world.
