Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, I pray you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. I ask that you fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others as freely as you have been forgiving with me. Please grant me a spirit of patience and peace as I walk out this day, and may anger find no root in my soul.
Father, please show us your mercy with our nation. We have turned away from you and our country is becoming in the way of Sodom and Gomorrah. We have sinned and have lost sight of your face and have brought your judgment upon us; but, through your mercy and your grace you can forgive this nation. Father, we need your help, we need you to remind the people, your children, who you are and what your glory truly is. Please save us my Lord, and turn the hearts of your people back to you. Please show your miracles, show your might, and show your glory. Remind the people that you are the God of our ancestors, you are the one true living God, the Lord of Hosts who delivered us from the bondage in Egypt so that you can be our God. You are the God who sent us his son, Yeshua, to show how to walk in your spirit, who showed us how to love each other just as you have loved us. Please help us Father, for other than you, who does our help and our hope come?
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who saves us in his grace, and brings peace to our lives.
