Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill me with mercy so that I may be as forgiving with others as you have been with me. May may walk today bring glory and honor to your name, and may you walk with me and guard me from the evil in this world.
Father, please help me become a better servant to you. Please place me on the path you have set for me and reveal to me the purpose you have for my life. Father, I pray that I follow your heart and that I do your will, not mine. You have done so much for me, and I am nothing but a spec of dust in the great and vast universe. Yet, through your grace, you have called my heart to you, and you lead me on the path you have set. Thank you for correcting me when I go astray, and thank you for granting me the faith to trust in you. You are indeed a great and awesome God, who keeps his promises and who delivers his people from bondage. Free your people my Lord for the sin they live in is great and it is drawing your children farther and farther away from you. Bring us back to you my Father, and have mercy on our souls.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who protects his people and grants them mercy.
