Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others just as you have been with me. Please grant me the patience in my journey and in my walk today as I deal with those who don't believe in you, yet who are still your children.
Father, I pray you save those poor souls who have been kidnapped from their families and who are living a life of slavery today. I pray that you find them and free them my Lord. Return them to their families, those who love them and who miss them terribly. End the suffering they are enduring and bring swift judgment to those who have stolen their lives. Father, you are their hope and their salvation for your mercies are never ending and your miracles are with us daily. If anyone can save them my Lord it is you. Please shine your light on them and free them from their captivity.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who delivers his people from bondage.
