Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill me with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others as freely as you have been forgiving with me. Please continue to guard and protect me, my family, and my home from the evil in this world, and allow us to provide a home filled with peace, a place where your spirit may always abide.
Father, please protect the leaders of our nation from the sedition within our government. Please allow our President to govern and to restore your blessings to this land. Place a spirit of cooperativeness on our congress so they may work together to bring our nation back to the glory in which you established it. Father, the time for protests, anger, violence, and hatred must come to an end. Please place a spirit of love and peace in the hearts of those who wish to destroy our nation, a nation made great by your hand. Please do not abandon us in our time of need, and work your mighty miracles to save us from the fate that destroyed those other great nations before us. Our lives are in your hands.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who built this nation up and placed his glory upon our land.
