Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Thank you for blessing me with your strength and your wisdom, thank you for bringing peace in my life and for making my crooked paths straight.
Thank you for the gift of your Torah, your wisdom and your love. Thank you for forgiving me my sins and for bringing me back to you. You gave us your son, and through him I have been healed and made holy. But, my walk continues and through your wisdom I may walk in peace. Thank you for all you do, and for setting us apart.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who blesses us with this Sabbath day.
