Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Father, I pray that you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word. I ask that you bless me with a forgiving heart so that I may grant mercy to others as freely as you have granted it to me. Please Father, protect me, my family, and my home from evil, and remove temptation from our lives. I pray you make our crooked paths strait and that you make our waters still. Please Father, bless us with a peaceful home in which your spirit will always abide.
Father, this is the last day before the election of a new leader for our country. I ask Father, whoever wins this election wins by your will. I pray that you wish to better this country and cease from punishing it. I pray you place a leader in our midst who can unite us together under your protection once again. I pray that you deliver us from the suffering of the enemy who has ruled our great nation for too many generations. Let your will be done on this earth my Lord and whatever the outcome, may your face remain fully in front of us forever.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who saves us from the bondage of the wicked rulers.
