Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend time with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Please grant me the strength and wisdom to walk in your word, please grant me a forgiving heart so that I may grant mercy to others as freely as you have given it to me. Thank you for loving me so much that you gave me your son so that I may live forever. You are the Lord my God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob. You deliver us daily with your loving mercy and with your mighty hand.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who grants us mercy and who delivers us from bondage.
