Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you blessing me with one more day to spend time with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. I pray you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to spread your love. May you continue to protect me, my family, and my home from the evil that is filling this world. May you drive temptation far from our lives and may we all walk along your still waters.
Father, whatever the outcome of the election today, may your will be done here on earth today. I pray that your will be a merciful one and that you will lift this nation out of the ashes and allow your spirit to once again rule supreme in this land. For yours is the Kingdom for ever and ever.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who guards us with His love and His mercy.
