Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Father, if it be your will, may you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your truth, in your light, and in your love. May you grant me a heart of forgiveness so that I may give mercy to others as freely as you have granted mercy unto me. May I never lose sight of your face, and may you never remove it from in front of me. Father, please help me be the spiritual leader of my home as you intended and may I always have the wisdom to build a joyous and peaceful home in which your spirit may always abide.
Father, please guard and protect those around this world that are alone and afraid. There are so many of your children who are in situations of slavery, bondage, poverty, and other situations of which they have had no control. I ask that you grant them peace and save them from their captors. Even those people who do not follow you are still your children. They are in the desert with nowhere to flee, in the midst of battles that are not of their doing. Please grant your mercy upon them and deliver them into safety. You are the God who saves and you are the creator of all.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who created the heavens and the earth and ALL that is within.
