Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you Father for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend time with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. I pray that you grant me the strength and wisdom to walk in your word and to spread your love. I ask that you protect me, my family, and my home from all evil, and that you keep those temptations which try to turn us from you far away from our sight and our hearing. Please Father, grant me a forgiving heart so that I may be as generous with handing out mercy as you have been so generous with me. Father, I pray that all your will be done on this earth, and that, at the end of the day, all your glory reigns over all existence.
Father, please raise up the right leader for this country. Please Father, forgive our nation for their sins. They have turned away from you, but Father, every time that has happened, you have forgiven and gave us back your grace. Please, do not abandon us and save us from the evil that is rising up in this land. The evil that doesn't believe in your people, but instead wants to destroy those who have chosen you to be our God. But you are our salvation, and through our faith in your great and mighty arm you will deliver us. Father, we need you now more than ever, please Father, the people are groaning and righteousness has fled from our leaders. But you can raise us up a leader who walks in your light, and it is through that hope that I have peace in my heart.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who raises up the wicked only so that they may be destroyed forever.
