Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to this world. Father, I pray you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word today. I pray that you grant me a forgiving heart so that I may hand out mercy to others as freely as you have handed it to me. I pray that you never remove your face from before me and that the gift of your Holy Spirit fills me with your love and your grace. Please Father, protect me, my family, and my home from the evil in this world and remove temptation from our lives. May I always provide a peaceful and joyous home in which your spirit will always abide.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who gives us all we need in this world, no more, and no less.
