Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world.  I pray you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love.  I pray for your hedge of protection to keep the evil away from me, my family, and my home.  I ask that you drive temptation from our lives and that you bless us with a forgiving heart so that we may grant mercy to others as freely as you have granted it to us.

Father, I pray that all your will be done on this earth, for it is all in glory to you.  I place my life in your hands and ask for the strength to follow where you lead.  Please heal this nation and give our new President a chance to help this country return to you.  You have given us a chance, now I ask that you open the hearts of the people and help them look past the color of skin or the shape of a body.  Let the people know that we don't have to live by labels and groups, instead we should be living by your love.  We are all your children and the people have once again become stiff-necked.  But through your grace, and your mercy my Lord, you can deliver us from the evil one.  You can unite your people under your rule and in your kingdom.  Father, our salvation lies in you and through our redemption by the sacrifice of your son, Yeshua, whom you gave to us so that we may live forever.

Blessed are you O Lord our God who has saved us from the evil of this world and delivered us from bondage to freedom.
