Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world.  Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love.  Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me.  Father, I pray that you never remove your face from before and that you continue to guide my steps on the path you have set, never moving to the right or the left.  Thank you for blessing me with a family who are full of love and light, may we always provide a peaceful home where your spirit may always abide.

Father, your greatness is unsearchable.  You cause the mountains to rise, you set the stars in the sky and move them on their course.  You created man from the dust in the earth and with your holy breath caused life to stir within us.  You set the sea on its course and held it back from the land.  You are the judge of all the earth and your judgments are always righteous.  Your mercies are never ending my God, you continue to forgive when we turn from you.  You continue to call out your people and cause them to lift their eyes and see you in all your glory.  Father, please continue to call your children to your Kingdom.  Continue to reveal your glory to the world.  Please deliver those whose hearts you place that crack in, so that your light begins to drown the darkness in their souls.  May your light be our light forever.

Blessed are you O Lord our God whose judgments are just and who rules in righteousness.
