Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in the world. Thank you for blessing me with the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Thank you for filling my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me. Thank you for guiding my steps on your path, for keeping me from turning to the right or the left. Father, I am so grateful for all the attention you have blessed me with. You have been so kind and forgiving with me, and am nothing but the grass in the wind.
Heavenly Father, you wonders are endless, you have mercy that is beyond our comprehension. Your grace abounds, and your patience is never ending. You created the heavens and the earth in six days and on the seventh day you rested. You rested from all the work which you had done, and you blessed us with the seventh day for that is the day you rested. Father, thank you for all your wondrous works and all your miracles. You delivered your people from the sin in their hearts and bless us with your son, whom you sent to deliver us from that sin. Your path leads to freedom and peace, your Kingdom where your glory shines all day and all night. Your love endures forever.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who blesses us with this Sabbath day.
