Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me. Father, please, I pray you never remove your face from before and you continue to guide my steps along the path you have set, keeping my feet from turning to the right or the left. Your glory is my light and your spirit leads my way.
Father, please help your children find you and call them back to you. Please crack the veil over their hearts so that your light can break the darkness over their spirit. Father, your children are lost to you, but they know the voice of their Shepherd. They will come if they are called, so please Father, show your grace, and show your might to bring your children home. You are the God who delivered us from bondage in Egypt and brought us to a land of freedom, a land flowing with milk and honey. You delivered us from a life of sin and brought us to a life of righteousness. Father, how can anyone ever say you don't exist? How can your own children deny you? Your greatness is unsearchable and your mercies are never ending.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who forgives those who repent, and protects those who call on his name.
