Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please bless me with the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me. Father, I pray you place within me a spirit of patience and gratitude, both of which will drive anger from within me and cast out the darkness with your light. I beg that you never remove your face from before me and that you guide my steps on the path you have set, keeping me from turning to the right and the left. Thank you for loving me and for keeping me safe in your arms. You are my God and I am your servant.
Father, please continue to use me to advance your Kingdom here on earth. May my example be a light to others so that they may understand that your way is the way of truth, that your way is the way of life. You redeemed your people with an outstretched arm and a mighty hand. You delivered our ancestors out of bondage and led them to freedom in a land that you promised, a land flowing with milk and honey. A land that you created full of peace and your glory. You provided us with a means to salvation through your son, who delivered us from the bondage of sin and led us to freedom in your spirit. Your miracles are never ending my Lord and your glory lights our skies for ever and ever.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who is our salvation and our deliverer.
