Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me. I pray that you never remove your face from before me and that you continue to guide my feet along the path you have set, keeping them from turning to the right or the left.
Father, your greatness is unsearchable, and your mercies are never ending. You formed the heavens and the earth and all that is within. You formed us out of dust and breathed life into our souls. Our life comes from you. You set the stars on their course and divided the land and the sea. Your glory is our light and your truth is our path. Father, please open the hearts of your children so that they may be saved from the darkness that keeps their hearts from seeing you. Please place a crack in the veil so that your light can push the darkness away and your glory can come into their spirit. Father, may all knees bend to you and all of your children raise their eyes and say, "Blessed are you who comes in the name of the Lord."
Blessed are you O Lord our God who call his children to him in truth and in love.
