Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me. Please, my Lord, never remove your face from before and continue to guide my steps along the path you have set, keeping my feet from turning to the right or the left. You are my salvation, and through your glory I walk in light.
Father, please cause the division in this nation to cease. We have been fractured by the Adversary, who has caused us to fight among ourselves, rather than joining together and lifting each other up under your name. Your wisdom is unmatchable when you say that a house divided cannot stand. I pray to you my Lord that the wicked be laid low in this nation, and throughout the world. They have turned their backs on you and seek to destroy any remnant that remains of your holy name. Father, your glory and your majesty surpasses the designs of men. Your grace and your mercy will save those whom you wished saved, those who you consider righteous, but your vengeance will slay the evil from this world and bring peace to us all.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who raises up the wicked only so that they will be destroyed forever.
Amen!
