Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me. May all my weights be balanced and just, and may your glory lead my steps along the path you have set before me. Father, your grace and mercy are everlasting and you are my salvation.
Father, please help heal this nation. We were founded under your truth and your principles, but we have turned to the ways of Sodom, we have become as those did in the times of Noah. Father, the people have forgotten you and the Enemy has turned their hearts against you. But your greatness and your power can end this rebellion and you can turn the hearts of the people back towards you. You did this with Noah, you did this with Sodom, you did this with Israel when you sent your son. Father, I am saddened that there is such little respect and acknowledgment of you. You are the one who set the stars on their course. You are the one who molded us out of the dust of the earth. You are the one who breathed life into our souls. You are the one who delivered us from bondage to freedom. You are the one who loves all the earth.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who saves his people from the enemies of this world.
