Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world.  Father, please grant me the strength and wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love.  Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me.  Father, I pray you never remove your face from before me and that you continue to guide my steps on the path you have set, keeping my feet from turning to the right or the left.  Your greatness is truly unsearchable and your miracles are with us daily.  May your spirit always abide within me and my home, and may your love and mercy find their way into my heart.

Father, thank you for placing a leader over us who understands your greatness, your power, and your authority.  You allowed him to rise to power in order to save this nation and have us turn back to you.  But, the Enemy has taken a strong foothold in this great nation.  He has caused your children to turn against each other and he has his minions in our government.  Father, please stop the madness that is trying to turn our great nation, a nation set apart, from become a nation like the others in this world, were your law falls, and the wants of the few will outweigh the needs of the many.  Please save us from that evil spirit that corrupts the hearts of so many of your children.  Please place a crack in the veil over their hearts and let your glorious light break the darkness that conceals the hatred they have for their brothers and sisters.  Your grace and your glory is the only answer to turn the tides and allow the leader you have chosen for us to fully succeed in bringing this great nation back to you.

Blessed are you O Lord our God who touches the hearts of all his children in his time and in his fashion.
