Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as freely as you have been forgiving with me. Please my God, never remove your face from before me and continue to guide my steps along your path, keeping my feet from turning to the left or the right. You are my God and I am your servant, may your glory lead my way all the days of my life.
Father, please reach deep into your heart and find the love that extends to all your children. There are people on this earth who are so filled with wickedness, so haughty, and evil - yet, they are still your children, your creation. Please Father, there must be something that you can do to save their souls. There must be some miracle you can perform to turn an evil soul into a righteous one. You have the power to harden the heart, and you have the power to soften it also. You can place a crack in the veil and let your light ease the darkness. You can save them with your mercy and your grace. You are from everlasting to everlasting, you are the creator of all things in heaven and on earth. You are the light that leads our paths, and you are the salvation of those who do not yet know you. Father, thank you so much for your kindness, your wisdom, your strength, and your love. You are my Rock and my Redeemer.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who is the creator of both the righteous and the wicked.
